IK Partners UK deal teams are looking for their next Off-Cycle Private Equity Analyst to support our Development Capital UK deal team during an internship of 6 months or more from September/October 2024. Candidates who can extend their tenure will be looked upon favourably.
This role would be well suited for a student or recent graduate who would like to broaden their experience in the Private Equity industry. The role is both broad and varied and you will support our Associate whilst reporting to the Partner. We are looking for strong academics, excellent data analysis skills and it is very important the candidate is both confident and has an eye for detail.

As an intern, you will work closely with the investment professionals in one of our IK’s UK deal teams and will assist with the appraisal of potential investment opportunities (both quantitative and qualitative) in the UK. The work of an intern is highly diverse, and candidates will gain investing and operational experience across a wide range of sectors.

  • Deal sourcing; sourcing exercises and updating pipeline information
  • Analyse potential investment opportunities
  • Carry out research and prepare background information
  • Business and operational analysis
  • Assist with internal presentation
  • Assist the team with portfolio reporting
  • Project related portfolio work
  • Financial modelling and valuatio
