Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Office/Accountant Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the administration team by managing financial records, processing transactions, and handling front desk operations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of a growing construction company while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records.
Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Track and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist with budget preparation and cost management.
Provide financial support and address inquiries from the administration team as needed.
Ensure all financial records are up-to-date and in compliance with accounting standards.
Greet and assist supervisors, visitors, and staff with a professional and friendly attitude.
Answer phone calls, emails, and other communications, directing inquiries to the appropriate department.
Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative or financial support role.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
A positive, proactive attitude with excellent communication skills.
