Prairie Mobile Communications has an opportunity for a full-time Office / Accounting Assistant based at our Winnipeg head office.
Under general supervision, the Office / Accounting Assistant will work in a team environment and be responsible for providing customer service in a friendly, courteous and timely fashion for the daily office administrative duties of the branch. This includes greeting visitors to the branch; answering in-coming calls and directing them as required; booking travel for staff in our branches across Canada; applying customer payments on account and other administrative tasks as required. The Office / Accounting Assistant interacts with all levels of staff, customers, and service providers.
The successful candidate will:
- Be self-motivated and have excellent time management skills
- Be able to successfully multi-task and deal with interruptions
- Understand travel booking processes for corporate travel
- Be comfortable working with cash, numbers and managing bank deposits
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external customers

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of experience in an office environment, general bookkeeping or related field
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
