SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and XERO,
- Prior experience in administrative or office-based roles is highly valued.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A positive and approachable demeanour with the ability to work in a busy environment.
- Flexibility that is required in a small size company in terms of changing needs and requirements. You may be asked to design/order uniforms and advertise for a painter at the same time.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. You will play a critical role in supporting our project managers/site supervisors and management, helping to keep our operations efficient and professional. This casual/part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic and rewarding work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing correspondence.
- Manage and maintain employee onboarding documentation and process,
- Manage bookkeeping tasks (XERO experience is essential), including scanning/entering receipts into XERO, following up on receivables,
- Reconcile XERO bookkeeping regularly,
- Manage and process employee inductions for various work sites,
- Manage and organise employee training needs,
- Maintain employment information such as training/competency records,
- Assist with scheduling and calendar management for the team.
- Ensure compliance documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
- Manage payroll process; handle daily clock ins/outs and maintain good level of records for payroll processing,
- Prepare regular documentation for progress claims such as gathering dayworks/sign-on sheets and variation requests,
- Support compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting.
- Manage regular updates on company social media accounts.
