FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a busy furniture store based in Slough seeking an Administrator with experience to assist with service-related queries and general office administration.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated and have great administration skills – this could be the right opportunity for you. We are looking for administrators that can take the initiative in resolving customer queries and ensuring the business maintains accurate, compliant records.
Whilst we are happy to provide training on our processes and systems, we would encourage candidates to have had some experience in Microsoft office applications. Some admin experience will also give a significant advantage.
The rate of pay is also dependent on experience, and there are great opportunities for growth and development with us! We’re looking for someone to join us for the long-term and grow their career in client-focused administration with us.

Responsibilities:

  • Being the first point of contact for all visitors in the stores and greeting them to ensure they feel welcome and comfortable.
  • Dealing with all telephone enquiries and trasferring them to relevant departments.
  • Customer service management.
  • Arranging delivieries for goods with customers and wholesalers and importers.
  • Dealing with all correspondence (ie post, e-mail, fax etc.) and all other day to day admin duties.
  • Making sure the customer’s order database on the Retail System is up to date.
  • Chasing suppliers for order confirmaton and deliveries.
  • dealing with purchase ledgers and sales ledgers.
  • Collaton of VAT receipts and liasing with company accountant.
  • Liaising with other branches and warehouse on a day to day basis to ensure tasks are being completed.
  • Microsofot Office programs being used to organise suppliers ledtimes and stock due in.
  • Planning and organizing director’s diary and meetings.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (ERP etc.)
  • Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage
  • A levels/ Ungergraduate field is preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

· Administrative: 1 year (Preferred)

Pay: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
