Description:

Multicultural Heritage Society of Prince George is hiring an Office Administrator. Ranging between 15 to 20 hours per week. The hiring wage for the position will be $20/hr.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Proven experience in office administration or a similar role, with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with grant research, documentation, and application processes is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Board President or designate, you will
· Provide general office administration services
· Coordinate interactive workshops, programs, events
· Assist with finding grants, preparing documents, meeting deadlines to ensure smooth submission of applications
· Demonstrate your passion for community spirit in attitude and action
· Support Board of Directors’ and Committee meetings by preparing meeting packages, typing and distributing minutes and agendas
· Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of the Board of Directors
· Interact with our clients by answering online and onsite enquiries
· Update website and social media with upcoming events
· Order office supplies and maintain inventory
· Compile data, statistics and other information to support MHS activities
