Due to the growth, Paragon Staffing, LLC is looking for qualified industrial maintenance mechanics to join our team! We take the stress and trouble away from finding each individual the right employment opportunity!Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, compile, formats and enters data into the Preventative Maintenance (PM) computer program.
  • Serves as a Buyer in the research of sources, pricing and purchasing of parts, supplies and services.
  • Maintains maintenance parts & supplies inventory records and initiates purchasing process when levels go below predetermined minimum levels.
  • Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts and assemblies both interdepartmentally and intradepartmental.
  • Generates Reports and Purchase orders from AS/400 system.
  • Performs varied clerical duties requiring knowledge of general departmental and corporate office practices and procedures.
  • Maintains records, checks data and prepares standard reports.
  • Notifies appropriate personnel when in-house stock reaches order point or when ordered material is past scheduled delivery date.
  • Others as may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an office/plant environment
  • Must have strong oral and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Good troubleshooting skills
  • Basic mathematical skills used to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and use decimals and fractions
  • Ability to perform work in a mature and professional manner, demonstrate personal responsibility, and perform all assigned duties
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, as well as to accept direction on given assignments
  • Working knowledge of MS office and exceptional computer skills
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
