Description:
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as an Office and Accommodation Manager. This pivotal role ensures the smooth operation of our school, from managing accommodation arrangements to maintaining our premises and supporting staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
Accommodation Management:
- Screen and recruit new host families, ensuring they meet our standards.
- Organize initial visits and inspections as needed (having a car is a plus).
- Assign students to host families and manage payment processing.
Office Operations:
- Provide technical support to staff, including teachers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Answer the main phone line and address inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Welcome students on their first day, including providing an informative and engaging induction.
- Prepare welcome packages for new students and assist in their orientation.
Facility Management:
- Maintain cleanliness and oversee cleaning arrangements within the school.
- Close the premises daily and ensure the facility is secure and well-maintained.
- Monitor and manage inventory, organizing the purchase of all consumables (e.g., coffee, cleaning products).
- Decorate the premises for events and celebrations.
- Oversee the general upkeep and organization of the facility.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in basic office software and technical troubleshooting.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities.
Desirable:
- Access to a car and willingness to travel for host family visits.
- Previous experience in office management, accommodation coordination, or related roles.
- Experience working in an educational environment or with international students.
- Qualifications to teach English as a Foreign Language (EFL).
