Description:
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (a member of Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies) is recruiting for a part-time Office and Road Safety Administrator to join our Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Team located in Toronto, Ontario! This is a part time position; 7.5 hours a day, three days a week; 22.5 hours weekly total.
Per our J&J Flex Policy, the expectation for this position is to work in the Toronto office location 2 days per week and work remotely from home 1 day per week.

In this role you will act as the single point of contact responsible for the administration and coordination of the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Office and Road Safety (SAFE FLEET) program in Canada. You will work closely with the EH&S Canada Manager along with internal and external partners to carry out the core elements of the program. You will be required to continuously monitor multiple data points to ensure commercial risks are mitigated and that the programs are following local regulations and J&J policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support management of the SAFE FLEET program relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Act as a single point of contact for employees with program questions or concerns and support ‘Drive Safe’ initiatives.
- Coordinate all processes and program elements, through coordination with the Canadian SAFE FLEET Champions and EH&S Manager, Canada, for all office and field employees. Participate and manage other North American special projects as the need arises.
- Implement and monitor compliance elements for fleet and office employees and manage the escalation process in a timely manner.
- Manage purchase orders for external vendors related to the office and road safety programs.
- Ensure data accuracy and validity by maintaining the monthly metrics, dashboards, and other analytic tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- A two-year college degree is required; advanced degree, preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in an administrative role.
- Familiarity with administrative processes supporting a large group of employees.
- Strong knowledge of data and analytics; with an intermediate understanding of Excel including Pivot Tables charts, and VLOOKUP’s.
- Experience in facilitating and delivering training material to large groups of people.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to cultivate, nurture and manage business relationships.
Preferred:
- Experience in workplace health and safety.
- Experience in fleet management.
Other:
- Ability to proficiently communicate both verbal and written in English required, proficiency in French is an asset.
- Strong critical thinking, planning and adept and continuous learning skills.
- This position will be located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and may require up to 10% domestic or international travel.
