Hiring Unit:
Building Director’s Office, Schulich School of Music

Position Summary:

  • Assist with permanent and ad hoc room bookings
  • Sign instruments in and out, track returns, schedule repairs as assignment by supervisor
  • Sign out and receive keys and Lenel cards
  • Answer general email and walk-in inquiries
  • Assist Building Director Unit with moving furniture and updating building inventory as required

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • Must be a registered McGill Student and be Work-Study Eligible for Fall, Winter, and Summer.
  • Must have very strong knowledge of music instruments including early music.
  • Knowledge of the Schulich School of Music an asset.
  • Strong working knowledge of Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment or furniture.
  • Spoken and written English and French.

Minimum Education and Experience:
