OFFICE ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in a medical front office role
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with medical software is a plus
- Flexible availability and the ability to adapt to changing schedules
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- A positive and proactive team player focused on delivering outstanding service

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in process
- Manage scheduling and appointment booking to optimize patient flow and clinic operations
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain electronic medical records and patient charts, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth interactions
- Monitor and manage office supplies and equipment inventory
- Prepare and process necessary paperwork and reports
- Support office staff and provide training as needed
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare standards
