OFFICE ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a medical front office role
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with medical software is a plus
  • Flexible availability and the ability to adapt to changing schedules
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • A positive and proactive team player focused on delivering outstanding service

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in process
  • Manage scheduling and appointment booking to optimize patient flow and clinic operations
  • Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain electronic medical records and patient charts, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth interactions
  • Monitor and manage office supplies and equipment inventory
  • Prepare and process necessary paperwork and reports
  • Support office staff and provide training as needed
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare standards
