Hiring Unit:
Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
Graduate Student from the School of Information Studies (Approved for Work Study).

Main responsibilities:

  • Conduct internet searches and collect publicly available data on the career outcomes of McGill postdocs since 2012.
  • Maintain detailed and clear records of the results of internet searches using Microsoft Excel and OneDrive.
  • Participate in an introductory training session in early October 2024 to ensure consistency of internet searches and data collection.
  • Collaborate with the project coordinator to ensure accuracy of records and ensure the timely completion of all tasks.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical skills and research experience.
  • Effective communication skills with an ability to clearly transmit and receive information both in writing and verbally.
  • An excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience working with websites and databases an asset.
  • English, spoken and written.
  • Must supply Work Study approval letter
