Hiring Unit:
Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
Graduate Student from the School of Information Studies (Approved for Work Study).
Main responsibilities:
- Conduct internet searches and collect publicly available data on the career outcomes of McGill postdocs since 2012.
- Maintain detailed and clear records of the results of internet searches using Microsoft Excel and OneDrive.
- Participate in an introductory training session in early October 2024 to ensure consistency of internet searches and data collection.
- Collaborate with the project coordinator to ensure accuracy of records and ensure the timely completion of all tasks.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven analytical skills and research experience.
- Effective communication skills with an ability to clearly transmit and receive information both in writing and verbally.
- An excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience working with websites and databases an asset.
- English, spoken and written.
- Must supply Work Study approval letter
Minimum Education and Experience:
