CLINICAL SUPPORT CLERK- ADULT PARTIAL CARE PROGRAM - SOUTH JERSEY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH RESOURCES

The Adult Partial Care Program is currently seeking an individual to serve as a full-time clinical support clerk. The individual will be responsible for all front desk and medical records operations and for performing customer service and administrative tasks to support the delivery of clinical services to consumers attending Adult Partial Care.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or completion of GED.
  • five years experience in clerical duties, electronic health documents and administrative tasks is required.

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Program Manager or designee, the clinical support clerk displays appropriate customer service related skills and presents with a pleasant and courteous demeanor while assisting consumers and visitors.
Answers phone appropriately, schedules appointments as needed, forwards incoming calls to the appropriate locations and documents messages as needed.
Gathers and/or verifies demographic and insurance information.
Collects fees/co-pays.
Assists consumer with completion of new intake paperwork.
compiles new charts and pulls charts.
Reconciles consumer accounts and performs necessary follow-up activities to resolve outstanding balances
