Description:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- One year of experience in a professional work setting demonstrating proficient use of Microsoft Office products or similar programs (i.e., Adobe Acrobat, Google Workspace, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution in Business Administration, Office Management, Education, or a related field of study
- Two years of experience as an Administrative Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by answering phones, responding to emails, and assisting visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Aid with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings as needed.
- Proficient in verifying credit card activation status
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment
- Operate office equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, laminating devices, and a two-way radio
- Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, cataloging, and maintaining records
- Support maintenance operations by generating, distributing, and filing work orders
- Maintain regular updates and upkeep of spreadsheets and databases related to the Plant’s operational activities
- Facilitate and perform various aspects of the vehicle scheduling process
- Proficiency in using specific computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.)
- Assist with purchasing-related tasks including organizing requisitions, purchase orders, and inventory management
- Support the building key distribution and retrieval process, ensuring keys are logged and filed appropriately
- Possess strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication abilitie
