Description:

Preferred CNC Inc. is a CNC machining company located in Windsor, Ontario that serves customers by producing mold components using a number of CNC machining centers, CNC lathe, boring mill, 3D metal printer, and more.
We are currently looking for a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as an Office Assistant and provide administrative support to our staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing office supplies, organizing files, and assisting with other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in a machine shop environment, although this is not required. Excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong attention to detail are all essential skills. We are looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, trustworthy and has a positive attitude.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Positive attitude and a strong team player.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Front desk: 2 years (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications.
  • Work along side Executives and assist as needed.
  • Maintain and organize filing systems, both physical and digital.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying/scanning documents.
  • Ensure lead time from vendors works with our deadlines.
  • Create packing slips/assist with shipping & receiving.
  • Print documents and deliver to appropriate personnel.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring everything is stocked and readily available.
  • Light bookkeeping assistance.
  • Handle other administrative tasks as required by the team.
