Job Summary:
Commonwealth Motors, a leading automotive dealership in Lawrence, Massachusetts, is seeking an energetic and reliable individual for the position of Office Assistant/Receptionist/Cashier. This is a full-time, hourly position in the customer service department. As a member of our team, you will play an integral role in providing exceptional service to our customers. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while gaining valuable experience in the auto industry.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $18 to $22 per hour, paid weekly. In addition to competitive pay, we also offer benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plans for eligible employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
  • Assist with customer inquiries and provide accurate information about our products and services
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of customer transactions
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and email correspondence
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and efficient customer experience
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate issues to the appropriate manager as needed
  • Follow dealership policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must be able to work M-F 7:30am-3pm with various opportunities for overtime.
