Description:

Best known for computer programs that extend and enrich the Windows experience, as well as for developing and publishing award-winning PC strategy games, Stardock is currently seeking a full-time Office Assistant to join the Operations Department. The Office Assistant will help to support executives and other studio leadership in an innovative environment where cutting-edge technology and epic creativity merge. This is an hourly, full-time position at our Plymouth, Michigan office.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

  • Proven experience as an Office Assistant or other relevant administrative position.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn new skills across multiple disciplines and grow within the organization.
  • A drive to contribute to a company culture that enables employees to bring their authentic selves to work.
  • Reliable transportation for use during business hours and satisfactory proof of active insurance coverage.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining discretion and confidentiality while providing administrative support to the Operations team, CEO, and Executive Assistant as needed.
  • Assisting with organization of files and storage, data-entry, mailing, and other daily administrative tasks.
  • Complete regularly recurring department errands such as Sam’s Club, Kroger, the bank, and the post office.
  • Ensure facility maintenance, repairs, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Managing general inventory of office, cleaning, and kitchen supplies.
  • Research, order, and maintain swag for facility visitors, employee recognition, anniversaries, and holidays.
  • Planning, coordinating, and facilitating employee communications, events, and rewards.
  • Organizing meetings including scheduling, setup, teardown, and all related needs.
  • Supporting coordination and communication with external partners such as independent contractors, maintenance vendors, and service providers.
  • Assisting in coordination, scheduling, and itinerary planning of corporate travel arrangements.
  • Fulfilling general administrative functions and support as needed.
