Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Biller. In this role, you will be responsible for discussing insurance coverage with Patients and Families and help assist with Medicaid applications along with other office duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of billing processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or inquiries.
  • Maintain billing records and documentation.
  • Verify insurance coverage and communicate with Patient or Responsible Party.
  • Help monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company billing policies and procedures.
  • Support BOM with Medicaid applications for Residents

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Biller or similar role.
  • Knowledge of billing procedures and best practices for Skilled Nursing Care.
  • Excellent numerical ability and data entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma; additional education or certification (e.g., in Accounting) is a plus.
