Description:
Yardstick Technologies is looking for an Office Assistant to become the backbone of our company’s daily operations. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a bustling environment and love making a difference. Your day will start bright and early at 6:30 am and end at 3:30 pm, during which you’ll expertly support all of our departments.
Your key responsibilities will include managing both front and end reception, greeting guests with a warm welcome, light housekeeping, and maintaining our company culture. Upholding our company values is at the heart of what we do, and as our Office Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in this.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Answering the phone line, processing customer inquiries, and greet guests.
- Ordering office supplies, lunches, groceries, client/employee gifts, etc.
- Tidying and restocking the office, kitchen and breakrooms.
- Setting up the office for the beginning and end of the day and decorating during events/holidays.
- Setting up meeting rooms for client meetings.
- Entering key performance indicator (KPI’s) reports.
- Parking and building key fob coordination.
- Booking any travel accommodations.
- Receiving any parcels and packages.
- Supporting and attending the social committee in company initiatives.
- Assisting with daily tasks including brewing coffee, loading/unloading the dishwashers, etc.
- Assisting other departments when needed.
Qualification:
- Must have a High School Diploma.
- 1+ year of related experience.
- 1+ year customer service experience.
- Any experience in hospitality would be considered an asset.
- Must be proficient with basic technology (Outlook, Teams, other computer applications)
- Must have experience with booking travelling accommodations.
- Able to retain confidentiality.
- Able to work independently.
