Description:

Yardstick Technologies is looking for an Office Assistant to become the backbone of our company’s daily operations. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a bustling environment and love making a difference. Your day will start bright and early at 6:30 am and end at 3:30 pm, during which you’ll expertly support all of our departments.
Your key responsibilities will include managing both front and end reception, greeting guests with a warm welcome, light housekeeping, and maintaining our company culture. Upholding our company values is at the heart of what we do, and as our Office Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in this.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Answering the phone line, processing customer inquiries, and greet guests.
  • Ordering office supplies, lunches, groceries, client/employee gifts, etc.
  • Tidying and restocking the office, kitchen and breakrooms.
  • Setting up the office for the beginning and end of the day and decorating during events/holidays.
  • Setting up meeting rooms for client meetings.
  • Entering key performance indicator (KPI’s) reports.
  • Parking and building key fob coordination.
  • Booking any travel accommodations.
  • Receiving any parcels and packages.
  • Supporting and attending the social committee in company initiatives.
  • Assisting with daily tasks including brewing coffee, loading/unloading the dishwashers, etc.
  • Assisting other departments when needed.

Qualification:

  • Must have a High School Diploma.
  • 1+ year of related experience.
  • 1+ year customer service experience.
  • Any experience in hospitality would be considered an asset.
  • Must be proficient with basic technology (Outlook, Teams, other computer applications)
  • Must have experience with booking travelling accommodations.
  • Able to retain confidentiality.
  • Able to work independently.
