And now, JD Sports is on the lookout for a vibrant, energetic and organised Office Coordinator to join the team on a Part-Time basis, working across 5 days a week with flexibility around hours per day. Based in our Sydney head office, this role will act as the face of JD Sports for all our external and internal stakeholders and is responsible for organising all administrative duties required that will facilitate the smooth running of the Support Office.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Meeting and greeting both team members and visitors in a polite, friendly and professional manner
  • Courier management including arranging outgoing mail and couriers both interstate and international, receiving quotes, following up booked jobs and distributing general mail
  • Managing the relationship with our corporate travel company and assisting with bookings as required
  • Be a part of our Culture Committee and drive initiatives as well as coordination of events
  • Arranging catering requests and researching new and exciting ideas for our monthly lunch
  • Drafting communications to the wider business regarding initiatives and events
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining office stationery and kitchen supplies
  • Ensuring customer queries are escalated appropriately
  • Managing petty cash
  • Keeping office area tidy and organised
  • Liaising with building management for any maintenance requirements
  • Answering main telephone and redirecting as appropriate
  • Be trained as a First Aid Officer and Fire Warden and attending relevant training
  • Maintaining register and signage for office health and safety
  • General ad hoc duties where required to assist the support teams
