POSITION OVERVIEW
The Office Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our New Farm and Maroochydore offices. This position is responsible for coordinating reception duties, managing office administration, and supporting our staff and customers. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and a commitment to maintaining a positive office environment.
As the Office Coordinator, you will wear many hats, where your attention to detail and organisational skills shine as you:
- Handle reception duties with grace, welcoming visitors and answering inquiries to enhance our service experience
- Support staff with administrative and IT challenges, becoming the go-to person for problem-solving
- Oversee the maintenance of our office environment, ensuring it remains a welcoming and organised space
- Maintain corporate documents, asset registers, and office operations to foster efficiency
- Coordinate monthly staff meetings, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items
- Engage in health and safety initiatives
- Provide personal assistance to the company director
- Contribute to our culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights and participating in collaborative planning
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The successful candidate will exhibit a proactive approach to their work and possess excellent interpersonal skills. You will be capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
- Tertiary qualifications in Administration (desirable but not essential)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the human services sector
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality
