At ECC we design, inspect, implement and maintain Erosion Control measures to support environmental protection and to help our clients’ avoid regulatory non-compliance scenarios. ECC is currently looking for an experienced Office Manager to join our growing Calgary operations.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Master of Quickbooks and accounting principles
  • Holds an accounting designation
  • Familiar with Ceridian Power Pay
  • Operations, communication, administrative support, office management, policies, customer service, Microsoft Office, and scheduling
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; ability to quickly adapt to industry-specific programs and software
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • High initiative, confidence, and a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
  • Ability to be self-directed, flexible, and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Experience or willingness to assist with accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and collections
  • Experience with Civil construction and earthworks is an asset

    Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff
  • A passionate professional advocate for both people and accounting practices
  • Someone that holds an accounting designation
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures
  • Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed
  • A proactive problem-solver who can juggle multiple priorities without breaking a sweat
  • Provides leadership to their team
  • Accounts Receivable collections
  • Accountable for providing KPI’s at weekly management meetings on AR and AP stats
  • Analyzing Quick books reports for accuracy
  • Hosting financial meetings for management
  • Providing accounting suggestions to owners
  • Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
