We are seeking a Office Manager/Producer to drive the growth of our brokerage operations across Ontario. This role will focus on managing partner relationships, expanding our network, and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure sustainable growth.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in insurance or a related industry, with a focus on business growth, partnership management, and people leadership.
  • 1+ years of experience in business development and building strategic partnerships, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding growth targets.
  • University degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of insurance brokerage operations, with experience in Alberta and Ontario markets preferred.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance metrics, develop strategic plans, and execute them effectively.
  • Problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a results-driven approach.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and making confident decisions under pressure.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic growth plans to expand A-Kan’s brokerage network across Ontario.
  • Lead and manage partner relationships, ensuring smooth operations and identifying opportunities to support their growth initiatives.
  • Identify and develop new business partnerships to grow the brokerage network and increase market reach.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to develop strategies for sustainable growth and improved operations.
  • Oversee and mentor corporate staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
  • Resolve escalated business issues, ensuring timely solutions and smooth operations.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to assess and communicate results to leadership.
  • Promote collaboration and sharing of best practices among team members and partners.
  • Represent A-Kan Insurance at industry events and build relationships with insurers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Travel as needed to visit partners, clients, and attend industry events.
  • Produce business to support the salary
