Join our dynamic and expanding team at Manning Equine Veterinary Services, a leading 5-veterinarian practice dedicated to top-tier ambulatory care across Southern Ontario. Situated on 100 picturesque acres in Erin Township, we specialize in sports medicine, rehabilitation, reproduction, and the lifelong care of pleasure horses.
About Us: Manning Equine Veterinary Services offers state-of-the-art facilities, including a 21-stall barn, in-house laboratory, treatment areas, and various turnout options. Our practice caters to international horse show venues and offers specialized services, making us a central hub for equine care in the region. Located near multiple referral hospitals, we provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment options, ensuring the best care for our equine clients.
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Office Manager to oversee the smooth and efficient operation of our practice. This key role involves partnering with our veterinarians and practice owners to drive revenue, manage costs, and foster a culture of high-quality patient care and exceptional client service. As Office Manager, you will lead our team in delivering outstanding care while ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the practice.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A genuine passion for horses and equine care.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, ideally within a veterinary or equine-related practice.
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, and inventory control.
  • Proven ability to manage staff, develop teams, and drive performance.
  • Experience with HR policies, problem-solving, and customer service strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with veterinary practice management software is a plus.
