As HR Executive & Office Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of our Office, administration of our People Practice, and supporting our Business Operations. You will work closely with the Leadership Team and engage with all OC people at various times. You will also be the key contact for a number of our suppliers.
This role would suit an energetic and confident individual, who enjoys diversity in their work, relishes opportunities to learn and is keen to broaden their skillset. You will be comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy. You will be well-supported throughout.

Responsibilities:

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Office Management
  • 3yrs+ office management or comparable experience.
  • HR / People:
  • 5yrs+ in a generalist HR / People Practitioner role
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation and obligations, GDPR, and contemporary people practices.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Office Management
  • This includes:
  • Liaison with the Building Management company and third parties to ensure the efficient running of: telecoms, wi-fi, equipment, security, cleaning & recycling, costs tracking, office config and environment.
  • Overseeing tasks assigned to the Business, Sales & Marketing Assistant.
  • Ensuring OC meets its HSE obligations.
  • HR / People Practitioner:
  • Working with the Head of Operations & People to run and optimise the People Practice at OC. This includes:
  • Providing HR counsel to the Leadership Team, personnel lifecycle administration (from onboarding and vetting, through support during employment, to offboarding), assisting with care & engagement of personnel and learning & development initiatives, supporting recruitment (umbrella companies and agencies) and managing employee benefits.
  • Overseeing tasks assigned to the Business, Sales & Marketing Assistant.
  • Ensuring OC meets its employer obligations.
  • Business Operations:
  • Supporting the Head of Operations & People on, and assisting the Operations Team with, a variety of operational matters including: Governance (GDPR, Information & Cyber Security…), audits, ESG, client administration, supplier administration, Leadership Team assistance.
