ABOUT THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to be an integral part of the team in our Hay and Knighton Agency. We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Hay-on-Wye and Knighton offices. The ideal candidate will have exceptional multitasking abilities, a knack for problem solving, and an unwavering commitment to creating a productive and inviting workspace environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our offices run smoothly and efficiently, allowing our teams to focus on their objectives to providing exceptional customer service and support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily office operations, including coordinating office supplies, equipment maintenance, and administrative support functions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staff office-related inquiries, addressing employee needs, concerns, and requests with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Implement streamlined processes and systems to improve workflow efficiency and enhance productivity across both offices.
- Oversee office purchase orders and ensure compliance with organisational policies.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and conferences both internally and externally.
- Assist with onboarding new staff, including ongoing training and development, ensuring a smooth transition into the workplace in a compliant manner as set out by the NFU Mutual and Financial Conduct Authority.
- Develop staff members to achieve personal and organisational objectives and targets.
- Develop and maintain detailed office processes and files.
- Foster a positive “can do” culture through employee engagement initiatives and team building activities.
