Description:
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Office Manager in Albany, New York. This role operates within the non-profit industry and entails direct interaction with the public and office visitors, as well as managing various administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Answering and managing incoming phone calls efficiently.
- Providing support in the completion and preparation of grant applications for submission.
- Ensuring all necessary documentation for grant applications is organized and readily available.
- Working closely with bookkeeping companies for smooth financial operations.
- Facilitating appointments with contractors performing work at various buildings.
- Directly handling customer support and inquiries to maintain a high level of customer service.
- Utilizing QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping and accounting functions

- Proficiency in Accounting Functions
- Experience in Answering Inbound Calls effectively and professionally
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software
- Strong Customer Support skills
- Knowledge of Basic Bookkeeping practices
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven leadership skills and ability to delegate tasks effectively
- Capacity to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Experience in an office management or administrative role would be advantageous
