Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Office Manager in Harriman, Tennessee. The role involves managing various office duties in the industry, including processing invoices, managing customer accounts, and ensuring company policies are adhered to.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the receipt of materials into inventory and manage the input of invoices into the system for processing.
  • Handle customer payments and post these payments to relevant accounts.
  • Assist with human resources tasks, particularly in relation to worker’s compensation claims and associated paperwork.
  • Maintain responsibility for making bank deposits.
  • Collaborate with various temporary agencies linked to the industrial staff.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure company policies are being followed at all times.
  • Handle bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
  • Utilize specific skills such as ‘Bookkeeping’, ‘Bank Deposit’, ‘Daily Bank Deposits’, ‘Workers Compensation’, “Department SOP’s”, ‘Coding Invoices’, ‘Posting Payments’, and ‘Epicor’.
  • Perform additional duties as required, always maintaining a high level of professionalism and organization.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an office management role or similar position.
  • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of bookkeeping practices.
  • Experience with bank deposit procedures, including daily bank deposits.
  • Familiarity with Workers Compensation procedures.
  • Understanding and ability to implement Department SOP’s.
  • Experience in Coding Invoices and Posting Payments.
  • Proficiency in using Epicor or similar financial management software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
