Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Northwest Church of Christ seeks a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Office Manager/Social Media Coordinator. This role is crucial to ensuring smooth daily office operations and effectively communicating our church’s message to the community.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for serving others and a commitment to the church’s mission.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prefer experience with Church Community Builder software (configuration and database management).
- Prefer 3-4 years of experience managing an office.
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
- Proven ability to appropriately handle very confidential information.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 32 per week

Responsibilities:
Office Administration:
- Manage general office duties, including scheduling events.
- Assist with church events and activities, such as preparing materials, coordinating volunteers, and setting up venues.
- Maintain accurate records and files, both digital and physical.
- Order office supplies and manage inventory.
- Church system configuration and database management.
Church Communication:
- Assist in the creation and distribution of church bulletins and other communications.
- Coordinate with the Webmaster of the church website, ensuring content is up-to-date and accurate.
- Maintain an email list and assist with email campaigns.
Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute engaging social media strategies across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
- Create and coordinate high-quality, visually appealing content (images, videos, graphics) that aligns with the church’s brand and messaging.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers.
- Track and analyze social media metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices.
