ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Office of the CISO (OCISO) is part of Confluent’s Trust and Security organization and its mission is to earn and retain trust by championing Confluent’s security, privacy, resilience, and compliance positions, thereby accelerating customer adoption and use of our platform and products.
The OCISO Enablement Specialist will assist in executing global trust enablement programs to support regional teams in delivering security and compliance assurance. Key tasks include helping develop scalable processes for customer risk assessments, contract reviews, regulatory audits, and trust communications. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, maintaining documentation, and supporting trust-building initiatives. It requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication. This position is suitable for those seeking to grow expertise in security, compliance, and customer trust enablement.
This is a remote-based position.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Assist in executing global and regional Field and Customer enablement programs under the guidance of senior team members
- Conduct research on customer security assurance and regulatory requirements to support the team in providing actionable insights
- Help implement and manage capabilities like contract terms, CABs, customer audits, and QBRs, ensuring alignment with organizational standards
- Collect and summarize feedback from Field and Customer processes to support the identification of operational improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with Sales, CSG, Product, Engineering, and Legal teams to ensure effective execution of trust-building initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes, programs, and outcomes to enable consistency and scalability
