Our Calgary office has an immediate opening for an Office Services Clerk.
As a member of the Office Services department, you will provide operations functions in areas within a law office environment. The Office Services Clerk plays an essential role in assisting all members of the firm in their day-to-day work.

QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS

  • 1+ years’ experience working in a law firm or similar professional setting preferred.
  • Microsoft Office skills (picks up program navigation easily).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide an excellent customer experience, utilizing strong customer service, personal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Run high volume copy machines and perform binding and finishing work.
  • Handle highly sensitive and confidential documents that may be time sensitive.
  • Provide utmost in quality work due to the sensitive nature of documents and projects that are required in a legal environment.
  • Provide back-up for reception duties.
  • Ensure copiers are working properly, checking for quality via daily inspections. Clears paper jams and inform technicians of specific problems.
  • Distributes mail and deliveries to designated drop-off points.
  • Ensures upkeep of copier areas by keeping them neat and well stocked.
  • Performs duties related to the shipping and/or receiving of materials.
  • Performs duties of scanning, file conversion, and file naming.
  • Responsible for interacting and providing professional level support to users at various levels, including legal assistants, paralegals, managers, associates, and partners.
  • Maintain and order office supplies as needed and stock supply rooms.
  • Hospitality duties: ordering/setting up lunches, ensuring boardrooms are well-stocked.
  • Reconciling invoices with food deliveries.
  • Preparing, cleaning, and sanitizing of boardrooms/offices.
  • Perform quality accurate jobs/projects that may require tight deadlines and potentially under high pressure.
