Description:

This is a supporting role to the Customer Account team where you will assist in the implementation, coordination and administration of the Customer Support team within an electronics manufacture & supply business.
This function interacts with the sales, operations, marketing & finance departments internally & creating solid working relationships is crucial. The ability to communicate to get things done internally is very important. The Office Support Assistant interacts within our Customer Accounts and must manage the process of achieving objectives while maintaining relationships.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 year’s experience in a similar Customer/Admin support role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Not afraid to take responsibility with a “can-do” problem solving attitude.
  • Any degree in Business or Technology would be an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, and attention to detail.
  • Good computer skills with high level of competency in all Microsoft Office packages, especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in printed circuit board manufacture & supply advantageous.
  • Financial Control experience such as the ability to resolve invoice and account queries an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Review customer data and communicate relevant project information to internal ECS Circuits quote, design and production teams.
  • Work with the company’s quotes and production team by providing them with appropriate leads, and relative information for each project undertaken.
  • Work with internal teams and external contractors to deliver projects to specification.
  • Customer order entry and placing PO’s.
  • Set up product codes and maintaining database.
  • Release PCB fabrication package of Gerber, Drill, IPC Netlists, P&P, BOM and Assembly drawings.
  • Shipping, invoicing and accounts queries.
  • Provide administration support
  • Become well versed in everything Printed Circuit Board (PCB) related.
  • Communicate regularly with customer on project status and potential new design requirements.
  • Creating shipments including all necessary documentations i.e., export invoices, consignment note, manifests and labels for domestic and international shipments.
  • Answering telephones, emails and performing general administration tasks.
  • Entering the supplier purchase invoices on to ERP system and matching invoices to purchase orders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in accordance with ISO-9001 systems.
