QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a field pertinent to the primary responsibilities and two to four years of work experience in student recruitment, public relations, communications or marketing.
- Good knowledge (Level 4) of spoken and written English and French in order to communicate effectively and to draft correspondence, documentation, and reports.
- Excellent interpersonal, relation-building, and communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, faculty, and external contacts and to give presentations to groups of potential students, their families and employers.
- Strong planning, organizational, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Ability to foster a positive team environment.
- Ability to commit to extensive travels and extended time schedules.
- Aptitude to work in a service-oriented environment as both a member of a team and independently.
- Good knowledge (intermediate level) of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of a CRM program, ideally Grey Matter.
- Good knowledge of data collection and analysis tools.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of University admission policies and procedures is an asset.
- Knowledge of the Student Information System is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in public speaking is an asset.

Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with Graduate Program Directors and the Manager, Marketing and Recruitment, implements the recruitment plan and meets formalized targets for recruiting qualified students in all programs, both in local and international markets.
- Individually meets and counsels prospective students and responds to specific inquiries in-person, by electronic tools or by phone.
- Manages the promotion, registration, logistics (location, travels, shipping of material, etc.) delivery and follow-up of information sessions and recruitment activities and tours (on and off campus and virtually). Works in close collaboration with University’s Student Recruitment Office to organize tours, joint recruitment activities, and access the University recruitment materials and initiatives.
- In collaboration with Graduate Program Directors and the Manager, Marketing and Recruitment, implements marketing plan and meets formalized targets for producing content.
- Develops and manages the production of marketing printed publications (brochures, leaflets, bookmarks, banners, etc.) and electronic content (social media, blogs, google ads, images, etc.) and contributes to the development of advertisements for JMSBs graduate programs; in conjunction with UCS.
- Works in close collaboration with members of the School of Graduate Studies Recruitment team, the University Communication Services team, subject matter experts from academic and administrative units and students and alumni ambassadors and other stakeholders to create/source content for promotional material.
- Collects, tracks, measures and analyzes data utilizing a variety of technologies (social media, CRM, diverse applications) from recruitment initiatives such as local, national and international educational fairs, corporate information sessions, on-campus and off-campus information sessions, school visits, 1-2-1 meetings and other recruitment and marketing efforts.
- Consistently reviews strategies, searches and assesses potential sources to attract and engage future students while keeping track of efforts deployed by the competition.
- Manages and updates the web content related to recruitment for all public and private graduate programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager, Marketing and Recruitment.
