Description:

The Officer – Performance Management is responsible for managing and overseeing the performance management processes across the organization. This role aims to ensure employees’ performance is effectively evaluated, aligned with organizational goals, and continually improved. The position ensures that performance feedback, development opportunities, and goal-setting processes are integrated and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Performance Management or Human Resources, preferably within a manufacturing or operational environment.
  • Proven experience in managing performance evaluation systems, creating performance improvement plans, and delivering performance feedback.
  • Strong ability to assess and analyze performance data, identify gaps, and create targeted solutions to enhance employee productivity and engagement.
  • Familiarity with performance management software and tools is desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentation purposes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate performance data and derive actionable insights to improve future processes.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Performance Management, HR, or Organizational Development are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure effective evaluation of employee performance and alignment with company objectives.
  • To define performance standards, conduct performance reviews, and identify areas for improvement and development.
  • To align performance management strategies with organizational goals and culture.
  • Support the development of performance improvement plans for employees in need of additional support, providing guidance and resources.
  • Monitor performance data and analyze trends to identify areas where performance improvements are needed, and suggest appropriate interventions.
  • Facilitate regular performance reviews for employees, providing constructive feedback and setting clear, achievable goals for development.
  • Design and update performance management tools (e.g., evaluation templates, goal-setting frameworks) to ensure they align with evolving organizational needs.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for managers and employees on effective performance management practices, including goal setting, feedback delivery, and performance reviews.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance-related issues, helping them identify appropriate actions to improve team performance and employee engagement.
  • Support talent development initiatives by linking performance assessments to career development opportunities and succession planning.
  • Measure the effectiveness of performance management processes through feedback, surveys, and performance outcomes, making improvements as necessary.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging ongoing development and performance discussions between managers and employees.
