Description:
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Master’s degree in Aviation Management or similar
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position. Previous contact with commercial, ground, or flight operations within a carrier can be advantageous.
- A solid foundation in the aviation supply chain, its concepts, players, and previous specific experience in the air cargo industry is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; any other languages are an advantage.
- Strong problem solving-skills to deal effectively with complex multi-variable tasks.
- Maneuvering comfortably through complex policy, process and people-related organizational dynamics
- Proficiency in MS Office and Windows OS. AIMS will be considered as an advantage

The Network Management Officer will be responsible for the following:
- React to commercial and operational events impacting the Cargolux network while resolving daily allocation conflicts due to delays, re-routings or diversions.
- Work with internal interfaces for optimal route economics and fleet utilization.
- Coordinate capacity adjustments due to market fluctuations, holidays, special customer requests.
- Evaluate and calculate ad-hoc requests for additional rotations, capacity or commercial stops.
- Perform seasonal slot schedule implementation for airport stakeholders as well as own commercial IT systems.
- Provide and support analytical reports, as well as conduct route market studies.
