ABOUT US

Oxfordshire’s Supported Transport Service manage transport for some 12,000 vulnerable people a day, using around 750 vehicles ranging from coaches, taxis and our own internal fleet of minibuses to over 100 different schools or social care establishments.
This is an exciting time to join the Service - with the council investing in a new Independent Travel Training Programme supporting children and young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to increase their independence in preparation for adulthood, being one of the first authorities to have real time information for school transport contracts and embracing active travel across the whole service. There’s lots of opportunity to be part of shaping a modern and progressive service supported by passionate and enthusiastic councillors making a positive impact on residents and users of Oxfordshire’s network.
