Description:
- ; Officer, State Public Information (4 roles available)
- ; 3 x Ongoing & 1 x 6 month fixed term, full time (shift work - 24/7 roster including nights and weekends)
- ; VPS3 salary between $76,817 to $93,275 plus superannuation
What will the role do?
o Work in the State Control Centre Public Information team as part of Victoria’s operational emergency response.
o Create and publish emergency information and warnings, manage the VicEmergency social media channels and support media requirements.
o Support projects that enhance public information.
o Community-focused communications to help keep Victorians safe before, during and after emergencies.
Please Note - This role involves working on site at the State Control Centre, on rotations of four days on, four days off. Successful candidates will be required to work changing shift times, including outside normal business hours, nights and weekends, to support the 24/7 nature of emergency response.

Qualifications
- ; Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in an appropriate discipline (such as - marketing, communications, or a related discipline) are desirable.
