The Field Engineer (FE) is a member of the Service Delivery Team. The FE will actively contribute to achieving the Tampnet business objectives in the short and long term. These activities will mainly take place at offshore locations in the North Sea.
The FE is responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of the Tampnet infrastructure at on and offshore locations. The FE will make a strong contribution to quality and work closely with Project Managers, NOC (Network Operation Center) and the Operational team.
FE’s reports to the Manager, Field & Technical Services North Sea.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Previous Telecommunications experience
- Previous Offshore experience
- Health declaration is part of the application procedure
- Flexible, inquisitive and relevant education
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Relevant and valid offshore certifications

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities:
- Survey, Installation, Commissioning and maintenance of Microwave radio links, LTE/4G, VSAT and network equipment offshore globally
- Mechanical Assembly of large antennas
- Electrical connectivity of devices
- Preparation, testing and staging of equipment
- Incident investigation / handling at on and offshore locations
- Close co-operation with Project Managers and Engineers
- Creation and revision of Tampnet Site Documentation
- Contribute to a positive working environment in the team / department
