Our Middle East Retail and Consumer Goods Team is seeking extraordinary individuals with deep expertise to support our expansion in this sector. We are specifically looking for candidates with solid strategy consulting experience at manager level. Experience could be from working at related institutions or supporting them in consulting capacity.

YOUR ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE
Clients hire Oliver Wyman for specialized expertise, the ideal candidate will have most of the following:
- At least 6-8 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organization).
- In-depth knowledge of topics specifically within the Retail, consumer goods and customer incubation field, which particular focus on:
- Retail efficiency and growth
- Ecosystem building and new verticals expansion
- Customer intelligence, analytics and customer experience
- Capability and venture building
- Good understanding of the startup ecosystem and players involved in this space across markets
- Track record of leading and managing teams and clients, and delivering against tight deadlines in fast paced and demanding environments
- Ability to apply depth of content knowledge for thought leadership in project execution
- Outstanding communication skills; comfort in presenting to senior executives, both internally and among clients
- A strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
- Have an aptitude for analytical work, like sniffing out clues in massive data sets or hunting down the key issues in a hugely complex challenge.
- Know how to take the initiative, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills and put the ones you’ve already got to good use
- An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
- Willingness to travel.

ENGAGEMENT MANAGERS are the on-scene leaders who run our projects day to day. You will lead the team through an efficient and effective problem-solving process from initial thought process through convergence on a solution. You will ensure that recommendations are correct, practical, sensible, relevant, and cohesive. It’s a role that demands thought leadership at the strategic level - and command of all the technical and operational details of execution. You will need great communication skills and the ability to forge strong relationships. What you will do:
- Manage the execution of individual project modules. This typically includes developing hypotheses, managing data collection, model creation and analyses, conducting primary and secondary research, creatively tackling information limitations, and surfacing insights.
- Support and collaborate with the Partner group in project delivery through accurate and high-quality case execution
- Own and develop executive client relationships, presenting to a wide range of audiences, and working day-to-day with clients and other stakeholders.
- Manage and develop the capabilities of junior consulting staff.
ASSOCIATES break down complex problems into discrete tasks, identifying the key aspects of a problem and directing the focus of junior consultants to those elements. You will effectively plan and execute analysis as well as identify the core issues in complex analyses in order to be able to craft suitable recommendations. You’ll work side by side with clients and your project team members to move projects forward and manage small teams to get the work done. Clients and colleagues look to Associates for unique insight into the subject area which they have chosen.
- Manage the execution of individual project modules. This typically includes developing hypotheses, managing data collection, model creation and analyses, conducting primary and secondary research, creatively tackling information limitations, and surfacing insights.
- Report to Engagement Managers and Principals, effectively seeking guidance on technical and senior-level steer to projects.
- Aid client meetings by preparing materials, conducting interviews, and facilitating workshops.
- Support business development by contributing to proposal development.
- Manage, coach and develop the capabilities of junior consulting staff.
