REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of project management and cost control best practices for EPC projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Omega 365 and Primavera P6.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong facilitative skills, including presenting to cross cultures and geographies.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of data management, integrity, digitization, and dependencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in Engineering or Information Technology.
  • Min.10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in the EPC industry, Oil and Gas, Industrial Gases, or Petrochemical industry.
  • Working knowledge of SAP

Responsibilities:

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking an Omega 365 Automation Lead within our Process Controls Engineering team located in Houston TX, Norway, United Kingdom or in our global corporate HQ in Allentown, PA.
With the growing complexity of the projects and rapid evolution in the value of data, Air Products has developed the need for a dedicated professional to lead the development and enhancement of our project management and project cost control software and data stores. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the business cycle, importance of data flow, and technology requirements. This position provides expertise in the field of project management, cost control, and earned value software.
The successful candidate will be accountable for establishing the automation plan for software required by our Project Delivery organization. The candidate must have demonstrable experience in systems and software used for managing large EPC projects. The candidate must have experience with typical system integrations, interfaces, critical data, and dependencies. The candidate will advise key stakeholders on the optimal solutions for integration of work processes and software.
This individual will work closely with all key stakeholders to implement a robust work processes and drive efficiencies in the project lifecycle.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Road map development for Project Delivery software (risk, correspondence, interface, cost control, earned value, etc.)
  • Development of rollout plans including identification of training requirements.
  • Driving business goals through IT enhancement projects.
  • In conjunction with functional leaders, establish use cases, narratives, and diagrams of current and future state processes, applications, and data flows.
  • Work with the Global Functional Owners and Business Process Owners to improve work processes.
  • Develop the data and meta-data attribution requirements with EPC stakeholders.
  • In-conjunction with IP/IT security develop plans, procedures, and capabilities to maintain Air Products Intellectual Property safe and secure.
