Where we are
Headquarters is a 45-minute drive west of Toronto, in Cambridge, ON, one of the largest cities in the Region of Waterloo, which is also known as Canada’s hub of tech innovation. Qualifications

  • Successful enrolment in a post-secondary degree/diploma, preferably in the Computer Science, Engineering or related program.
  • Familiarity with Python, knowledge of Universal Scene Description (.USD) & NVIDIA Omniverse is a plus
  • Familiarity with DCC Software, CAD, and/or spatial computing
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn Azure DevOps for task management and bug tracking.
  • Ability to work within the fast-paced environment, and proven ability to multitask
  • Team player and able to coordinate activities with other departments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for Omniverse extension, connectors, and applications
  • Learn and use Azure DevOps to provide feedback on tasks, create bug reports, track progress and communicate with the development team
  • Participate in daily sprint sessions, providing input and feedback, and addressing clarifying questions from developers.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting of Omniverse extensions and connectors
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings safely
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and or travel as required in varying timelines
  • Ensure scheduled milestones are met and notify appropriate departments if milestones are not met
  • Adhere to the Eclipse Project Operating Policy
  • Maintain good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate Vision
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc. Conduct Code
  • Foster the development of a culture reflective of the core values of the business

This position is a contract co-op/student role, starting January 2025. Students should be enrolled in a post-secondary academic program requiring a co-op/work term.
