Description:
The Jewish Community Centre (JCC) of Greater Vancouver is seeking a casual on-call program assistant/support worker to support programming in our Inclusion Department. The role involves working with the Inclusion Coordinator to facilitate various adult inclusion programs including cooking, outings, art classes, etc. Most programming takes place at the JCC but may also include incursions around the city. Times and dates may vary but support is most often required on Sunday (afternoon), Monday (evening), Tuesday (evening).

Responsibilities include:
- Facilitate and support programming for participants.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants during scheduled programming and activities.
- Supervise participants during scheduled incursions outside of the JCC.
- Assist in administrative tasks as needed.
- Additional duties may include: program preparation such as grocery or supply pick up.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with adults with disabilities and mental health challenges.
- Ability to effectively facilitate and monitor program activities.
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Criminal record check is mandatory
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour depending on experience. Up to 12 hours per week.
Work Location: In person @ the JCCGV, may include excursions around Vancouver.
