CRUCIAL SKILLS
- 3+ years in sales, driven by revenue targets and service important metrics.
- Proven track record in meeting monthly sales goals in travel or sales.
- Confident in leading customer interactions.
- Strong English communication skills; a second language is a plus.
- Able to work onboard expedition ships 80% of the year.
- Proficient with various computer programs.
- Experience with reservation systems and CRM/Salesforce preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Team player with collaboration skills.
SOPHISTICATED SKILLS
- Proven experience in cross-selling and upselling to customers.
- Ability to handle and resolve conflict and guide customers to efficient solutions.
- Natural ability to inspire and self-motivate.
Responsibilities:
Get along with travelers onboard during meals, expeditions, and activities to build trust and relationships.
Listen and ask the right questions to discover each traveler’s needs and preferences.
Provide personalized recommendations and create a compelling vision for their next Quark expedition.
Encourage and facilitate bookings for future trips while customers are still onboard, leveraging their excitement and satisfaction with their current experience.
Reach monthly sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Offer and sell all ancillary products, e.g., pre/post, flights, and insurance, to enhance the travel experience.
Thrive in a dynamic team that challenges the status quo, creating your lane within the business, and consistently exceeding sales targets.
Book our onboard customers into their next trip of a lifetime and provide world-class customer service throughout the customer’s current expedition.
Answer customer post-sales inquiries via phone and email
Spend 20% of the time following up with past customers through CRM and other methods to secure repeat bookings.
Follow and accurately execute the established sales framework.
Maintain detailed and accurate notes in the Salesforce CRM for successful transition to the Client Service team.
