SUMMARY

As an Onboarding Engineer, you are expected to work closely with clients to help support their security needs and implement security solutions to deliver business impact. You will work closely with solution architects to provide support for pre-sales using knowledge of threat and risk. At the same time, you will be a member of the Support Operations team in providing assistance to the support team and the engineering team with improvements and innovation through project work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Onboarding of clients and partners to new solutions and enabling their adoption.
  • Support customers and partners with third party solution inquiries and participate with representative vendors to facilitate our solution onboarding.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues with customers and provide best practices and guidance on security solutions.
  • Work with cloud technologies to build, implement, and maintain security solutions (Azure, Defender, Sentinel, GCP, AWS, Serverless, Containers, Identity, Email, Endpoint, CSPM, etc.).
  • Propose solutions and act as an advisor to encourage elimination of security vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in discussions and workshops to explain solutions, and approaches to addressing risk and security.
  • Identify and respond to service incidents and requests, while maintaining our service levels for the solutions.
  • Research, document, present and discuss security findings with management and IT teams.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender Suite.
  • Experience in azure cloud
  • Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, Github Actions, etc.).
  • Experience with multiple scripting languages. (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with Windows, UNIX and Linux based operating systems and networking concepts.
  • Understanding of SIEM and SOAR platforms and uses for detection and automated mitigation and remediation.
  • Experience in analyzing and responding to advanced cyber threats, technology risk and the motivation/attack vectors of each threat and evaluating threats/risks posed by modern technologies spanning networks, hardware, software, etc.
  • Understanding of SIEM query languages like KQL, EQL, SPL, etc.
  • Excellent customer and project management skills.
  • Experience with configurations for tools like Defender Suite, Cisco, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Mimecast, etc.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in cyber security and/or solution implementation and/or technical troubleshooting in hybrid environments.
  • Four-year college degree (preferred)
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001/27002, NIST, HIPAA, SOX, PCI, etc.)
  • Knowledge of FAIRTM (Factor Analysis of Information Risk)
