DIGIT.B2, the unit for Interoperability and Digital Government, promotes digital-ready policymaking within and beyond the Commission, enabling the successful implementation of the Commission’s DigitalTransformation and EU policies. In close collaboration with other Commission services and its stakeholders, DIGIT.B2 builds methodologies, tools, services and communities to facilitate the take-up of digital-ready policymaking. Also, DIGIT.B2’s digital-ready policymaking team is in the process of setting up a consultancy service in the Commission to help onboard policy teams to the digital-ready policymaking journey.
Below are the details of your role and requirements.
Your role
- Participation in early-guidance meetings with policy teams to understand their needs and provide digital-ready guidance
- Assistance in drawing up Legislative Financial and Digital Statements and assessing their quality
- Preparation of presentations, workshops, short reports on digital-ready policymaking
- Coordination and review of specific deliverables related to digital-ready policymaking
- Stakeholder relationship management – involving close coordination with the IT and policy teams -aiming at promoting the uptake of digital-ready policymaking
- Involvement in the digital-ready policymaking team’s legal semantic activities that explores the use of AI support as well
- Regular reporting to the project officer
