Position Summary: The Onboarding Manager for OSCAR Pro and Juno is responsible for overseeing the implementation and onboarding of EMR systems in healthcare facilities. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare workflows, EMR software, and project management skills to ensure a smooth transition to electronic medical record-keeping. The Onboarding Manager will work closely with healthcare providers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful EMR adoption.
Responsibilities:
- EMR Implementation Planning:
- Direct team and provide guidance collaborating with healthcare facility leadership to develop an implementation plan tailored to their needs.
- Assess the current workflow and identify areas for improvement
- Determine the scope, timeline, and resources required for successful implementation.
- Project Management:
- Create and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical staff, and EMR vendors, to ensure alignment and progress.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or roadblocks that may arise.
- Training and Education:
- Develop training programs for healthcare staff to ensure proficiency in using the EMR system.
- Collaborate with our vendors to facilitate product training and updates.
- Change Management:
- Develop and implement change management strategies to improve onboarding workflow for internal team members and for client experience.
- Communicate changes effectively to staff and address concerns and resistance.
- Data Migration and Integration:
- Oversee successful migrations into and exporting from the EMR systems.
- Work with Data Migration Technicians and Analyst’s to ensure seamless integration with other healthcare systems and applications.
- Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Develop and maintain a procedure aimed at thorough testing of the EMR system to identify and resolve issues before providing system access to the client.
- Establish quality assurance protocols to maintain data accuracy and system reliability.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure that the Onboarding Team complies with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards,
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of the onboarding process, including project documentation, training materials, and user feedback.
- Generate progress reports and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Troubleshooting and Escalation:
- Provide ongoing support to internal team to address escalations and issues from onboarding and migrations.
- Collaborate with the Data Migration Technicians and Analyst’s and Application Management, Onboarding Specialist teams to resolve technical problems promptly.
