Description:
Ensure NIHR recruitment targets are met as agreed by CRN North Thames and working towards achieving the NIHR CRN High level Objectives To maintain detailed knowledge of the protocols for the clinical trials Co-ordinate and manage the collection of research data according to the trial protocol, developing systems for tracking patients to identify when next data collection stage is required. Take responsibility for accurate and complete clinical trials data collection using trials documents. To provide relevant MDT with information and education regarding current clinical trials. Ensure all personnel involved in clinical trials are made aware of any changes or protocol amendments Liaise with clinical trial centres as necessary and with relevant departments in order to ensure smooth running of clinical trials for patients.
To assist in the informed consent process. To provide verbal and written information and to be a point of contact to patients for the duration of their involvement in a clinical trial. And when appropriate act as sole signatory for consent to clinical trials
