Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As a Sommelier Supervisor at Oncore by Clare Smyth, you will be responsible for leading a team of attendants across shift, ensuring efficient table service for each guest. You will bring your previous premium dining experience to support with coaching and mentoring your team to deliver on the elevated levels of service offered at Oncore by Clare Smyth. This role will also utilise your problem-solving skills to mitigate future issues, supporting with post service reporting and working alongside the kitchen team and other restaurant leaders to deliver against the operational plan.
Oncore by Clare Smyth welcomes guests Tuesday – Saturday. This role will be based onsite at Crown Sydney, Barangaroo and is a permanent full-time opportunity.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Support with the restaurant’s operational plan
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholder groups to deliver on outcomes
  • Support with reporting, financial reconciliation and escalations as needed
  • Provide exceptional guest service in line with Oncore by Clare Smyth and Crown’s premium offering
  • Deliver guests with expert wine selections and pairings
  • Support two-way communication with a focus on continuous improvement
