Description:
For this role it is a requirement that you have a command of the Dutch language. We also we expect you to work and live in the Netherlands.
As a research assistant in ichthyoplankton, you will process and analyze histological samples according to international guidelines. You will work in the laboratory using microscopy and image analysis to create histological preparations. The samples consist of fish eggs, larvae, fish gonads, and fish stomach contents. You will apply your knowledge and expertise in taxonomy and identification. Image analysis involves histological preparations of fish gonads and fish eggs and larvae. You will accurately process the results of these analyses into data templates and specific software.
