You will be responsible for

  • Understand business process and requirements and be able to design systems to improve these processes
  • Create functional specifications to be used by the in-house development team or third party suppliers
  • Implement new systems as required by the business plan
  • Assisting with the creation of test script
  • Ensure any new systems comply with required security and audit standards
  • To provide 3rd line support as required (both in and out of core working hours)
  • Manage smaller IT change projects
  • Communicate well with other functions enabling understanding from both sides to achieve an outcome
  • Manage & conduct work activities in such a way as to ensure the safety, health & welfare at work of all colleagues & customers
  • Work with developers to produce estimates

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Good understanding of IT both in terms of software and hardware
  • Planning skills
  • Good communications skills (written and verbal)
